1.3 Information from Third Parties

If you sign up using a third-party service (e.g., Google, GitHub), we receive basic profile information as permitted by your privacy settings with that service. We also receive payment confirmation data from Stripe.

Process payments and creator payouts.
Personalize your experience, including content recommendations.
Communicate with you about your account, updates, and promotional offers (with opt-out).

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, cloud hosting providers, analytics tools). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
Public Profile: Creator profile information, uploaded content, and associated metadata are publicly visible by design.
Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Cinee, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to affected users.

4. Cinee Studio & AI Model Data

When using Cinee Studio, your prompts and creative inputs may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate content. Each AI provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle this data. Cinee does not store your prompts or AI-generated intermediate outputs beyond what is necessary to deliver the final content to you.

Note: We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of AI tools you use through Studio (e.g., OpenAI, Stability AI, ElevenLabs) to understand how your inputs may be processed by those services.

5. Cookies & Tracking

5.1 Essential Cookies

Required for authentication, security, and core functionality. These cannot be disabled.

5.2 Analytics Cookies

Help us understand how users interact with the Platform. You can opt out via your browser settings or our cookie preferences panel.

5.3 Preference Cookies

Remember your settings such as language, theme, and playback preferences.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers. Cinee does not serve ads.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:

Account data: Retained until account deletion, then purged within 30 days.
Uploaded content: Removed from public access immediately upon deletion; purged from backups within 90 days.
Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations.
Usage logs: Anonymized after 12 months.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit.
AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest.
Regular security audits and penetration testing.
Role-based access controls for internal systems.
Two-factor authentication available for all accounts.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Cinee is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will promptly delete that information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification at least 15 days before taking effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
